Early & General Vita:

Antonina Helena Nowicka, better known in the fashion industry as “Nina Helen”, is an upcoming fashion model born on November 17, 1992 in Tomaszow Mazowiecki in central Poland.  As a precocious pre-teen, young Nina Helen would sketch outfits and dream of modeling them down fashion runways.  Ms. Nowicka was scouted by various modeling agencies as a teenager.  She ultimately rejected an early start in order to pursue higher education. Ms. Nowicka applied and successfully matriculated at the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University.  She graduated with a degree in Journalism and Public Relations in 2014.  During her informative years at college, Ms. Nowicka was relentlessly pursued by various Polish modeling agencies. She was finally recruited at the end of her sophomore year at University in the summer of 2012 by Krakow based Fashion Color, and eventually joined Neva Models, headquartered in Warsaw. Nina Helen commenced her international career in 2015 modeling for Beyond Models in Milan, Italy. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Nowicka worked in Vienna, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei, culminating in a move to the United States in 2018 with BMG Models in New York. She currently lives between Puerto Rico and New York.

Prior To COVID-19 Pandemic:

Prior to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Nina Helen embarked upon a worldwide modeling tour with both commercial and runway campaigns in Europe, Asia, and America.  Some of Ms. Nowicka’s highlights include commercial campaigns for established brands such as Elle Magazine, Marie Claire Magazine, Valentino, Harvey Nichols, Diesel, Issey Miyake, L,Oreal, Yishon, Prestige magazine and Louis Vuitton.  As a Runway model, Ms. Nowicka was honored to walk for many highly regarded brands such as Moiselle and Missioni.

During COVID-19 Pandemic:

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, Nina Helen decided to further her fashion and modeling expertise by studying digital fashion in an intense 2 year mentor-protégé  program with the renowned Professor Aneta Genova from the Parsons School of Design. Ms. Nowicka learned to create both the physical and digital forms of fashion attire utilizing Clo3D, a software which eliminates the need for a traditional sewing studio and reduces consumption of materials. Clo3D enables you to create virtual 3D samples using best practices and workflow, providing you with basic knowledge of patternmaking and digital pattern files. You learn how to instantly modify patterns, fit, and fabrication, with the ability to view changes in colors, prints, and graphics. Finally, you can create a presentation-ready 3D environmental space with high-quality rendered images and animations. These virtual 3D apparels can be used to either manufacture physical or digital outfits, the latter used in various metaverse platforms and video games like Fortnight. Furthermore, working closely with graphic and software instructors in Blender, Nina Helen created a virtual replica of herself and a virtual multimedia artist by the name of “They Are WiSh”. Both of these Virtual Models are fully enabled to present outfits made in Clo3d in any virtual or mixed reality environment. Blender is a free and open-source 3D computer graphics software toolset used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D-printed models, motion graphics, interactive 3D applications, virtual reality, video games, and virtual humans.

The Future of Modeling:

The pandemic provided an opportunity to reflect on the future of modeling given its devastating impact on the industry. How could fashion models survive in a world replete with quarantines?  Traditional Fashion Modeling needed to evolve and rise to the challenge by utilizing new technologies and creative thinking. Nina Helen saw the solution in the rise of virtual influencers like Lil Miquela, a fictional half Brazilian/half Spanish avatar, who were providing “modeling” services for fashion brands while real models who were real people were unemployed during the height of COVID 19. These fashion brands had prepared Clo3D digital outfits for the virtual influencers’ campaigns, playing an inadvertent part in the ascent of DressX, a digital clothing platform. Inspired by the rise of virtual influencers and digital clothing, Nina Helen explored experimental modeling solutions via a project for a NFT Multi-media artist named “They Are WiSh” by utilizing Clo3d, Blender, mixed reality, virtual models, and virtual reality ecosystems with esteemed author and Parson’s Professor Aneta Genova. She created the virtual model, the digital clothing and executed a sound commercial fashion campaign. In addition, she provided traditional modeling services for song art.   Her innovative approach led to the offer of a strategic modeling partnership with “They Are WiSh” and NFT Fashion Marketplace Startup, Token Fashion.

New Post-Pandemic Modeling Services:

In addition to traditional modeling services, Nina Helen can now provide virtual modeling services and solutions by marrying fashion with technology.  A virtual Nina Helen can provide commercial and runway fashion solutions. Furthermore, Nina Helen services can also provide a vast array of new virtual and technological solutions and products like digital clothing, virtual modeling, and creative thinking for the metaverse. If your apparel does not have a Clo3d version, Nina Helen services can render you a satisfactory digital copy. If you are a model and want to be prepared for the next pandemic or reap the benefits of the burgeoning NFT and digital fashion space, Nina Helen can provide you with a solution for creating a digital avatar with your likeness and fully capable of modeling virtual clothing in myriad environments. Furthermore, Nina Helen services can provide you with a virtual lookbook which includes your virtual avatar modeling 5 different digital outfits.
